On February 1, Oleg Boldyrev, a correspondent for the Kazakhstan company “Telemaster.kz”, transferred to the museum a copy of the program “Travel in Kazakhstan” by e-mail, published in the state, Russian and English languages, organized by order of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Earlier, in October 2018, correspondents conducted surveys of expositions, located on the territory and inside the museum. During the visit of the correspondents, the tour guide of the exposition and exhibition department K. Parkhomenko told about the history of the “ALZHIR” camp and what tasks the museum team is facing to perpetuate the memory of the victims of political repressions of the 30s-50s of the 20th century.
On February 20, in order to prepare a report on the fate of women prisoners of the “ALZHIR” camp, Beraia Ketevan and Shukvani Zaza, members of the film crew of “New Week” program on the 1st public TV channel of Georgia, filmed expositions located in the museum, in the “Alash” and “ALZHIR” halls. Museum employees R. Zhaksybayeva and E. Samorokova told about the history of the camp “ALZHIR”, about women of Georgian nationality, prisoners of “ALZHIR” and about the work carried out by museum staff to perpetuate the memory of victims of political repressions of the 30-50s of the XX century.
On February 27, on the official museum accounts in social networks Facebook and Instagram published a review by Samat Ilyasovich Tergembayev the director of the museum and memorial complex “ALZHIR” about the work of the XVIII Congress of the People’s Democratic Party “Nur Otan”.

On April 22, the museum and memorial complex "ALZHIR" was visited by the Mamai Zhanbolat Mamayuly, a researcher, documentary, who filmed expositions located on the museum's territory as well as inside the complex, to shoot a documentary on the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions and Famine. Zhalgasova gave interviews to Kazakh radio station, in which they told about events held on the eve of May 31, about the history of “ALZHIR” camp, about its famous prisoners, about the research, exposition, exhibition and stock activities of the museum.
On May 29, on the eve of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions and Hunger, correspondents of the TV channel “Kazakhstan” met with Grunberg-Ivannikova Vera Konstantinovna, granddaughter of Valentina Grunberg, a prisoner from “ALZHIR”, came from Moscow.
