On the 3rd of May the meeting «To defend the homeland is the duty of men» with the veterans of Afghan war, home front toilers rear, and representatives of deported people to Kazakhstan will be organized, together with the club «Kakharman», which created at the high school №5 a.Akmol and military unit № 44813 of Air Defence Forces of RoK (dedicated to the 7th of May- The Fatherland Defender ‘s Day and 9th of May – Victory Day of Great Patriotic War).
On May 3-9, the exhibition «The men who raised the flag of courage» in the hall «Alash» will be organized (dedicated to the 9th of May – Victory Day of Great Patriotic War).
On May 9-12, a mobile exhibition and lecture on «The famous names of «ALZHIR»» at the state historical- cultural and literary- memorial museum-reserve «Zhedebay- Borli» of Abay in Semey city will be organized.
On May 13-14, a lecture on «from «ALZHIR» to the War», dedicated to the 9th of May – Victory Day of Great Patriotic War will be organized.
On the 18th of May The Open Day «The Museum as a human memory» dedicated to the International Museum Day will be organized.
On the 18th of May «The Night at the Museum» will be conducted by the museum staff together with the military unit № 44813 of Air Defence Forces of RoK, specialists of Cultural Center of a.Akmol, the teachers and pupils of the high school №5.
On May19 - June in the hall «Alash» the exhibition «Unique exhibits of «ALZHIR»» will be organized, which collected by museum specialists during the research trips in 2015-2016-s (dedicated to Memorial Day of political repressions’ victims and famine).
On the 29th of May International project «Descendants Remember » will be organized, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of museum, the 80th anniversary of beginning of mass political repressions, also the 100th anniversary of forming of «Alash» party on the Kazakh soil and the government of «Alash Orda»( meeting with the descendants, which live in Kazakhstan and in the countries of near and far abroad, the presentation of memories collection of repressed people`s children «Descendants Remember », revival of apple orchard).
On the 30th of May the excursion to the participants of International project at cultural sites will be in Astana, which organized with the assistance of «ALZHIR» museum administration.
On the 31st of May ceremony of laying the flowers to the Memorial Wall of victims of political repression and totalitarianism (dedicated to Memorial Day of victims of political repressions and famine) will be held.
