One of the tendency of the scientific-researching activities of the museum is scientific –searching and expedition works, which “ALLZHIR” museum staff actively organize.

In the opening year, the first scientific-researching expedition to Almaty was organized. During the expedition museum employees met with “ALZHIR” prisoners: Uazipa Kulenova, Maria Danilenko and Sayat, Ilfa children of Ilyas Zhansugurov, with Zarema, a daughter of Torebek Osmanov, the fist banker of Kazakhstan, and Saule, a daughter of Turar Ryskulov and others.
