April 21, In association with Embassy of Italy to Kazakhstan International scientific-practical conference, within the framework, the presentation of the book “Unknown tragedy of Italians in Crimea” and memorialize of repressed Italian people in Karaganda camp was held.

August 28, in cooperation with Embassy of Germany to Kazakhstan the conference, devoted to 65-th anniversary of deportation of Germans to Kazakhstan was organized.

September 5, the meeting with participants of the expedition was organized with the support of Embassy of Lithia to Kazakhstan and secretariat of Assembly of peoples of Kazakhstan.

November 26, a conference devoted to 115-th anniversary of Turar Ryskulov, a prominent statesman and public figure took place.

March 17, In association with Embassy of Ukraine to Kazakhstan and ethno-cultural society “Varta” a round-table talk was organized with the theme “The Ukrainians in Kazakhstan: a look at to the past and present”

August 25, mini-conference, devoted to 15-th anniversary to Constitution of Kazakhstan was held.

November 18, mini-conference, devoted to 175-th anniversary to Shokan Ualikhanov, a prominent scientist, orientalist was held. Students of ENU named after L.N.Gumilev, schoolchildren of School №64, journalist of “Kazakhstan” television participated.

January 18, the meeting with Madeniet Kozhambayev, a descendant of Alimkhan Ermekov, a honored scientist mathematician was organized.

March 10, the museum staff participated in round-table talk: “Taras Shevchenko – Ukraine and Kazakhstan”, held in ENU named after L.N.Gumilev.

June 22, the action “Paths of the native land” for children from disadvantaged incomplete, needy and large families of Akmol village was organized.

March 5, on the eve of International Women’s Day, museum staff visited Anna Endanova, the only woman in Kazakhstan, alive woman-prisoner of “ALZHIR”, whom on March 1, celebrated 90 years old. This day financial aid was provided by museum to her.

May 16, with support of Presidential fund of development of state language, the contest for the best scientific work, devoted to 75-years since the start of mass political repression was organized. In the contest 37 works were stated on the theme: “Never happen again”, “Deported people”, “How repression passed through your family”.

January 13 – February 2, Zhaksybayeva Raissa Ramazanovna, a head of exhibition-display department participated in the conference ‘’Ravnina russkaya.Opyt dukhovnogo soprotivleniya”, held in Moscow with the support of Moscow State regional social-humanitarian institution. Zhaksybayeva R.R.made a report with the theme “ALZHIR” is our memory and pain”.

February 11, museum employees took apart in the scientific conference ‘’ World of Akhmet Baytursynov: knowledge, culture and dialogue‘’.

May 6, the meeting, timed to 68-th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War with veterans of home front, veterans of Afghan’s war, soldiers of the military unit №44813, Akmol village and search group “Malinovka” took place.

November 16, museum staff participated in the conference: The world Mart of the art and position of Kazakhstani modern art” organized by public Union “Kulan-Astana”, with the connection of Center of Modern Art “KULANSHI” in the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation with the support of Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan.

December 23, on the eve of 85-th anniversary of the Tselinograd district and Day of agricultural workers, International scientific-practical conference “Tselinograd district: present, past and future” was organized in the museum.

May 4, appointment with soldiers of military police of Ministry of Defense of ROK, devoted to 7-th of May - the Defender of the Fatherland was held.

May 30, museum staff participated in the scientific-practical conference “Political repressions and famine in Kazakhstan in the 30-s of the XX century” organized by Department of internal policy of Astana city. From museum’s administration, for all participants, collections of books with memories of the prisoners and their children were handed.

May 30-31, within framework of international project “Memory for the sake of the future” museum staff took part in the event, devoted Memorial day of the victims of political repression, organized by Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in Eastern-Kazakhstan region

December 19, museum employees took part in the State scientific conference “The Alash and Turkestani Autonomy” devoted to 97-th anniversary since the start of creation of Alash Autonomy, held in ENU L.N.Gumilev.

May 15, In association with search group “Malinovka”, created under the museum on February 2011, the museum staff organized the meeting with veterans of home front of Akmol village and Tselinograd district, veterans of Afghan’s war, soldiers of the military unit №44813.

May 14, on the eve of International Day of museums, museum employees took part in the conference “Museum and sustainable development”, organized by Kazakhstan Committee of International Council of museums (ICOM Kazakhstan) with support of Culture and Sports Ministry of Kazakhstan.

“ALZHIR” museum-memorial complex was awarded with diploma “The museum of the year”, museum director was awarded by the certificate.

May 22, the meeting with people, who personally knew Tatyana Iving-Afonina, a prisoner of ‘ALZHIR’ was held. There were Bykovskaya Valentina Alekseyevna, Melnikov Dmitry Nikolayevich and Karp Leonid Lazarevich. Bykovskaya Valentina Alekseyevna was a pupil of Tatyana Afonina. Lots of information from Bykovskaya V’s talk about life of Tatyana Afonina was given.

May 27, on the eve of Memorial Day of the victims of political repression and starvation ,the museum employee Zhalgasova Bekzhamal participated in the conference organized by Nazarbayev University, where read lecture “The scientific and research works of the museum”.

May 29, on the eve of Memorial Day of the victims of political repression and starvation, in “ALZHIR” museum with association of Zhas Otan – the youth wing of the Nur Otan People’s Democratic Party and S.Seifullin Kazakh Agro Technical University the event was held.

May 29, in the scientific-practical conference called “Repression and Famine in Kazakhstan, 1930-s: origins and background”, organized by Internal Policy Department of Astana in the conference-hall in Independence Palace, the museum staff Zhangutdinova Almagul participated.

May 28-31, in The International forum “Sherli shezhire amanaty” within the framework of the project “Memory for the sake of the future” organized by Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in Ural city, the museum staff Baurzhanova Gulzhan participated. She gave a presentation on “Researching works of the museum”.

June 4, the museum staff attended in the event “Umitn eldin arkalap, armannan tugan ramizder”, devoted State Symbol Day, organized by Internal Policy Department of Tselinograd District, Akmola region.

June 16, within the framework of the Gender Equality Strategy 2006-2016 in Kazakhstan, the meeting with Tembayev Erbol, a director Chamber of entrepreneurs of Tselinograd district branch and with women- entrepreneurs of Akmol village was organized.

September 11, the meeting with Tursyn Zhurtbay, a writer, a scientist, director of National center “Otyrar kitapkhanasy” under Gumilev Eurasian National University was held. Event, within the framework of the abay reading was devoted to 170-th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayev, a great Kazakh poet, philosopher, thinker, took place.

October 14, in association with National center “Otyrar kitapkhanasy” under Gumilev Eurasian National University, a round table devoted to 550-th anniversary of Kazakh Khanate was held.

14 January the director of the “ALZHIR” museum and memorial complex Oralov Meirambai participated in the republic scientific and practical conference organized by the National Archive of RK and the Institute of History of the State to the 25th anniversary of the Independence of Kazakhstan.

15 January guides of the museum participated in the meeting of Round table with the representatives of guides and staff of the capital palaces and museums with the aim to discuss problematic issues in tourism.

1 March a mini-conference timed to the Day of thanks in Kazakhstan was held in the museum. The “ALZHIR” museum and the Institute of History of State staff participated in the conference.

On May 13, on the eve of Memorial day of the victims of political repressions, in “ALZHIR” Museum and Memorial Complex the meeting with the representatives of deported people to Kazakhstan and repressed people was held. The aim of the event is to commemorate tragic events in 1930-50-s and restoration of justice against the innocent victims of totalitarian system, the formation of the youth patriotism and morality. For the meeting the descendants of deported people were invited, Ablyakimova A.I., Smailova Sh.A., a daughter of deported Germans Khodorovskaya M.G., descendants of repressed Mukhametzhanov Kapan, Roza and Kulparash. The guests told about their family’s fates. Kulparash and Roza told a lot about a father, who was instructor of polit. Department, sentenced to death on February 26, 1938. The great interest of all participants of the meeting was memories of descendants of deported people, narrating about their childhood, how their families outlived the terrible years of deportation. Many of them who came to Kazakhstan not on their own, consciously left to live here, considering it a second Home. At the end of the meeting for the participants the book “ALZHIR”, published by materials collecting during research trips was handed.

24 May, a director of the museum, Oralov M.A. participated and made a speech in the event, dedicated to Memorial Day of the victims of political repressions, organized by Direction on ensure the preservation of monuments and historical-cultural heritage at the monument to the Holodomor, Astana.

On May 31, on Memorial Day of the victims of political repressions, on the territory of “ALZHIR” Museum and Memorial Complex, the ceremony of putting flowers at Memorial Wall, the meeting with participation of representatives of administration of President of RoK, Astana akimate, Astana maslikhate, Akmola Region and Tselinograd district akimates, “Akmola phoenix” Joint Stock, descendants of repressed and deported people, representatives of Embassies to RoK and ethno-cultural centers were organized. In the meeting State secretary Gulshara Naushaevna Abdikalikova, descendants of repressed people NikolskayaTatyana, born in “ALZHIR” camp, a daughter of Nikolskaya Ksenya, “ALZHIR” prisoner, coming from Moscow and Ospanova Zaure, a granddaughter of Kazbekova Magrifa, a prisoner of “ALZHIR” spoke. Also the museum specialists participated in the ceremony of putting flowers at the monument to the victims of Famine, located in Astana. Putting flowers from Astana akimate, deputies of Parlaments RoK, Astana maslikhate, city organizations and residents of the capital was held.

On June 4, with the participation of Armenian, Belorussian and Ukranian ethnocultural centers, the opening ceremony of memorial stone for Armenian women-prisoners took place, in which Armenian Ambassador Saakyan Ara Okopovich as well as a manager of excursion and exhibition department R.R.Zhaksybayeva made a speech.

On September 26 Museum jointly withthe akimat, Internal policy Department of Tselinograd district and "NurOtan party branch in Zerde hallorganized the first forum, "Labour dynasties", dedicated to thepromotion of the idea of Universal Labor Society, in celebration of the 25thanniversary of independence of Kazakhstan. The participants of the event,dynasty families residing in Akmol village and Tselinograd district, spokeabout their career, for which they devoted much of their life. The event wasattended by members of public associations of veterans and invalids of theAfghan war, the children and adolescents living in disadvantaged and low-incomefamilies.

On October 20, the specialist of State Service of Astana city Rakhmatulin A.R. made a lecture on “Prevention of the fight against corruption”.

On October 25, employees of the exposition and exhibition department took part in the International scientific-practical conference "Historical and international significance of the December uprising, 1986 in Kazakhstan", organized by the Institute of history and Ethnology named after Sh. Ualikhanov and the Association of historians of Kazakhstan to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence and the 30th anniversary of the uprising. The conference was attended by prominent scientists and public figures of Kazakhstan, scientists from several foreign countries (Russia, Holland, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, etc.), as well as ambassadors of foreign States.

On November 4, on the territory of the museum the fir-trees were planted by museum specialists.

On November 7, the meeting with Gazdieva Leila, a psychologist of Central hospital, Tselinograd district for the provision of psychological and counselling services of young families in Akmol for planning and raising children was organized. Gazdieva Leila made a lecture for museum specialists on “Fundamentals of family psychology” and responded to questions.

On November 8, the meeting with S.K.Imankulova, a chairman of national trade union workers of culture, sports and information, Astana city was held.

On November 16, Zhaksibayeva R.R., Chairman of the primary trade Union participated in the seminar on “Labour code Rok. Collective agreement”, organized by S.K.Imankulova, a chairman of national trade union workers of culture, sports and information, Astana city. At the close of the meeting Zhaksibayeva R.R. has got a certificate.

On December 7, on the eve of 25-th anniversaryof Independence of RK, Baltabayeva Bakhit Saparovna, a head of Department of use and publication of documents of the state archive, Astana city read a lecture on “Independent Kazakhstan” for schoolchildren and the museum staff.

On December 6-7-s, within the framework of “Astana is a good city” charity event, organized by the initiative of Astana city akimate, the museum specialists handed the food package for people of disabled possibilities of Astana city.

On December 8, the meeting with Arenova Galina Stanislavovna, a specialist in safety and health was organized, who introduced with the main articles and provisions of the labour code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, gave a lecture on "Safety and health" and answered questions.

On December 13, Duysekeev K.T., deputy Director for administrative part made a lectures on “No extremism and terrorism!”, “Corruption – a threat to society and the state” to the museum specialists.

On December 14, the museum’s engineer Orshabekov S.I. gave a lecture on “System maintenance CCTV”, “Rules on labor protection in the Museum”. On December 15, Ablyakimova A.I., engineer technical safety made a lecture on "Fire safety in cultural institutions".
