Osmanov Torebek (1893-1937)

Born in 1893 in the Kyzyl-Kum district of the Kyzyl-Orda district of the Syrdarya region. He is the first Kazakh banker. In the 1920s, he held a number of responsible posts: the Food Commissioner at the People’s Commissariat of Labor in Ak-mosque, the Chairman of the Board of Consumer Cooperatives, the Chairman of the Perovsky District Union. In 1930-1937 - Deputy Governor of the Kazakh office of the State Bank, one of the founders of the financial and credit system of Kazakhstan.

He was arrested on June 16, 1937, and shot on October 4, 1938. He was rehabilitated in 1958.

She was born in 1906 in the city of Kyzyl-Orda, by nationality - Kazakh. She was sentenced on December 23, 1937 by the CCA under the NKVD of the USSR as a member of the family of the enemy of the people to 8 years. Then she arrived in Akmola on February 9, 1938 from the prison in Alma-Ata. She was released from Karlag on October 17, 1945.
