In the period from 28 to 31 July 2021, in order to create a play about the fate of the prisoners of the Akmola camp of the wives of traitors to the Motherland, director-producer of the East Kazakhstan Youth Theater Abai Dauletuly got acquainted with materials reflecting the history of mass political repressions of 1937-1938 and expositions of the halls "Alash", "ALZHIR". Specialist of the exposition and exhibition department Zhaksybaeva Raisa Ramazanovna held a consultation in which she spoke about the life of the prisoners of "ALZHIR" before their arrest, about the years spent in the camp and after their release from the camp. In memory of the museum, a collection of memoirs of the prisoners of "ALZHIR" and their descendants "Descendants Remember”, published by the staff of the memorial dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the museum and the 80th anniversary of the beginning of mass political repressions.
