On October 27, 2023, employees of the State Institution «Directorate of United Museums» took part in the 1st Congress of museum workers in Kazakhstan. At the restoration site, professional specialists discussed issues related to the conservation and restoration of museum items, exchanging experiences. The event aimed to enhance the professional qualifications of museum specialists. The seminar also provided an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the creative works of masters. The goal of the Congress was to promote the achievements, experiences, and results of contemporary museum work, advance museum activities in a modern direction, and improve the scientific research and cultural-educational activities of museums.

The laureate of the State Prize, the poet Nesipbek Aituly, has passed away. On October 16, 2023, the poet and laureate of the State Prize, Nesipbek Aituly, passed away. He was a distinguished figure in culture and the arts, who made a significant contribution to the cultural and spiritual development of the capital of Kazakhstan. For many years, he worked diligently at the Saken Seifullin Museum under the Directorate of United Museums in the city of Astana.

The winners of the city stage of the Mereyli Otbasy contest were determined in the capital. On behalf of the staff of the Directorate of United Museums, our colleague Kabiden Kuanyshbai took part in the competition and won in the nomination "Ulagagatty otbasy".
