According to the results of the city distance competition of local history projects "Otan Zholymen", organized by the Center for Local History and Tourism of the Education Department of Nur-Sultan on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a student of the 8th grade of the school-lyceum No. 62 of Nur-Sultan Darkhan Dilmanov took 1st place in the category "Unfading Stars" on the topic "Tatiana Afonina - Honored Art Worker of the Kazakh SSR" and was awarded the Diploma of the Metropolitan Department of Education.
Within the framework of the project, together with the ALZHIR Museum and Memorial Complex, a video was shot with the participation of Tatyana Pavlovna's student - Bykovskaya Valentina Alekseevna, who was with her for many years, took care of her and actually became her daughter, a local history research work was written and a presentation was prepared exhibitions based on materials from the personal archive of Valentina Alekseevna Bykovskaya and the fund of the “ALZHIR” museum.
Bykovskaya Valentina Alekseevna donated Tatyana Afonina's personal belongings to the museum fund: a bottle of perfume from the 70s and 80s, the embroidery that was on the piano - Tatyana Afonina played on it, as well as jewelry that Tatyana Pavlovna personally acquired and sewed on dance dresses of various peoples.
