On January 5, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan Mammadov Rashad Einaldin ogly and Ibragimov Bakhtiar, a grandson of Ali Amedovich and Afrus Yusupovna Alibayevs made a visit. Alibayev Ali Amedovich was a head of Shekin College, before the arrest he worked in the Ministry of light industry in Baku, repressed and sentenced to death in 1937, his wife Afrus Yusupovna was accused of being a family member of the Traitor to the Motherland and served a sentence in “ALZHIR” camp for 8 years. Bakhtiar Ibragimov noticed that he would like to give photos of his grandfather and grandmother to the museum. During the meeting Mammadov said that he was ready to support to find repressed descendants in Azerbaijan.
On January 11, Zhanat Shanina, a descendant of Zhumat and Zhanbike Shanins visit the museum. Zhumat Shanin was director, playwright, public and theatrical figure of Kazakh SSR, repressed and executed in 1938, his wife Zhanbike Shanina was one of the first Kazakh actress, served a sentence in “ALZHIR” for 8 years as a family member of the Traitor to the Motherland. Zhanat Shanina, told that she would send photos of repressed relatives from the family archive, as well as documents and personal objects.
On January 18, within the school exchange with the objective of strengthening Franco-Kazakh cultural ties and language learning, to establish personal and friendly relations between the young generations of Kazakhstan and France, the students and teacher of Military Lyceum Sen-Sir, France, representatives of French Embassy to Kazakhstan and students of high school №17, Astana visited Museum and Memorial Complex “ALZHIR”.
On January 26, an actor of theatre and cinema Gani Kulzhanov with his guests visited the museum.
February 6, the participants of “Astana club” meeting from Canada, Russia, Korea, USA, France and Germany visited the museum.
February 6, the specialists of The Emergency Department and Ministry of Internal Affairs from different cities of Kazakhstan, who came to Astana to qualification improvement courses made a visit.
February 13, Barzu Abdurazakov - Director, honored artist of Tajikistan, laureate of K. Lavrov, who acted as the Director of the play at the State academic drama theatre named after Gorky in Astana, organized in the framework of the state programme for the fight against extremism and terrorism paid a visit.
February 18, the teacher of Nazarbayev University, Professor of biology Department Ivan Andreevich Vorobyev, a grandson of “ALZHIR” prisoner Hanna Samoilovna Martinson made a visit.
On March 14, Ambassador of Hungary to Kazakhstan Andrash Baranyi visited the museum and in the guests book thanked for commemorating the historic event.
On March 16, the teacher of Exeter University of Great Britain Nelly Bekus and the doctor philosophic sciences, Director of the research Humanitarian center and educational technology, Ainur Abdina made a visit.
On March 21, within the framework of the programme “The childhood without borders” with the support of Public fund “Childs happiness”, Children №1, Almaty of orphans and children deprived of parental care visited the museum. For them the guided tour and demonstration of documentary film were organized for free. The president of PF thanked the museum for contribution to children.
On March 23, the soldiers in basic service of military unit № 2026, the border service of National Security Committee, Astana attended the museum.
On 17th May – Delegations from Armenia, Russia and Estonia with the aim of establishing the burial place of prisoners of "ALZHIR" monument for Armenian women headed by the Ambassador of Armenia in Kazakhstan Ara Sahakyan visited the Museum-memorial complex "ALZHIR".
On 20th May - the Museum-memorial complex "ALZHIR" was visited by the servicemen of military unit the President's regiment "Aibyn" No. 0112 of the State protection of the RoK for free.
On 25th May - Akim of Akmola Region Murzalin Malik Kenesbayevich with a working visit was at the Museum-memorial complex "ALZHIR" on the eve of 31st of May – the Memorial Day of victims of political repressions.
On 27th May - the Museum-memorial complex "ALZHIR" was visited by pupils of RSE "Republican school "Zhas Ulan" named after General S.K.Nurmagambetov" of the Ministry for Defence of the RoK for free.
On 28th May - the Museum-memorial complex "ALZHIR" was visited by residents of the charity project "Ana Uyi" for free, the main aim which preventing the failure of the mother of the newborn child and the prevention of social orphanhood.
On 30th May - Museum-memorial complex "ALZHIR" was visited by specialists of the memorial of the Independence of Korea, whose purpose is the collection of information about the Korean people and fighters for the Independence. The guests received a copy of the photo of prisoner of Karlag-Hwang Unden from the Museum.
On Jule 9 – The Museum-Memorial complex “ALZHIR” was visited by grandson of Kseniya Trofimovna Chupryaeva – Igor Vitaliyevich Demchenko. In turn, he expressed a desire to transfer photos from the personal archive to the Museum Fund, to write memories about his grandmother to refill an electronic database of “ALZHIR” prisoners also.
On Jule 10 - The Museum-Memorial complex “ALZHIR” was visited by Raymonds Veyonis President of Latvia. At the end of the visit he thanked the staff for keeping the memory of the tragic pages of history that should be honored and to prevent their recurrence in the guest book. In memory of the Museum visitor was handed a collection of memories of the repressed children "Descendants remember", published by Museum staff for the 10th anniversary of museum and the 80th anniversary of the beginning of mass political repressions.
On July 17 - The Museum-Memorial complex “ALZHIR” was visited by speaker of Latvian Senate Milan Stech. At the end of the visit he thanked the staff for keeping the memory of the tragic pages of history that should be honored and to prevent their recurrence in the guest book.
On July 26 - The Museum-Memorial complex “ALZHIR” was visited by Ronald Skills from California, who had being the participant of International exhibition “EXPO” since 1962, among them “EXPO-2017” in Kazakhstan.
On August 1, the descendants of Sultanbek and Gulyandam Khodjanovs repressed in 1937 visited the museum. Jacket of Gulyandam Khodjanova, a prisoner of “ALZHIR”, which she wore after the camp they gave to the museum.
On August 2, Shatskov Vladimir The General Director of the Military technical schools - the Center for military-Patriotic education of youth made a visit. After the excursion he handed medal “For the achievements” to the director of the museum.
August 3, the exemplary family from Semey, the participants of “The family policy” teleshow in “Khabar” TV channel visited the museum.
On August 3 , museum was visited by a delegation from India, which was the wife of the Commander of the Army of the Republic of India, wife of Brigadier-General of the Indian army, wife of the Military attache of the Republic of India in Astana.
On August 17,the representatives of Parliament and the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea led by head No Un He, the deputies of the party "Free Korea" and representatives of the Korean national railway Corporation «КORAIL» visited.
On August 22 , renowned American conductor and pianist Orbelyan Konstantin Garrievich, a grandson of Sofia Mikhaylovna Atarbekova, a prisoner of “ALZHIR” and his friend Tumanyan Barseg Robertovich, Armenian Opera singer, people's artist of the Republic of Armenia made a visit.
On August 24, in the framework of the visit of the President of Poland to the museum, the Polish delegation led by Ambassador of Poland to Kazakhstan, Andje Skshidlo came to the museum.
On August 26, the Belorussian delegation led by the head of the presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus, Kachanova Natalya Ivanovna as well as Nichkasov Anatoly Ivanovich, the Belorussian Ambassador to Kazakhstan visited the museum.
On August 28, by 75-th anniversary of deportation of Germans to Kazakhstan, German center “Wiedergeburt” of Astana city and Akmola Region made a visit.
On August 31, the delegation of the Ministry of culture of the Kingdom of Thailand, which was attended by Minister of culture, Secretary to the Minister of culture, former Director General of the Department of fine arts and others paid a visit.
On September 6, within the framework of the official visit to Astana The President of Poland Andrzej Duda with his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda made a visit to “ALZHIR” Museum and memorial complex. The guests were accompanied by museum director Oralov Meirambay Askerbayevich and the specialist Mailibayeva Saiya, who told about the expositions of the museum. At the end of the visit the guests thanked the museum specialists for preserving memory of tragically historic event in the guests book, that never to let it happen again. In the memory of the museum the collection of memories of repressed children, edited by museum staff for 10-th anniversary of the museum and 80-th anniversary of beginning of mass political repressions was handed to the guests. Also Mr.Duda handed the book about Warsaw. Correspondents of Polish broadcast 1 «TVP» covered the visit of the President to the museum and aired on September 7/ 2017.
On September 15, within the framework of the official visit to Astana, the representatives of Moscow Government visited the museum. The delegation was composed of organizations of the wholesale food complex, large network of companies in the sphere of trade governing the markets companies.
On September 16, pupils of “Zhas Ulan”school - orphans left without parents, children from large and single-parent families visited the museum.
On September 19, imams of Akmola Region paid a visit.
On September 20, the representatives of the Border service of Committee of National Security border departments of the CIS made a visit.
