Prisoner of Algeria Iving-Afonina Tatyana Pavlovna

 

In the years 1929-30 - ballerina of the Kiev Concert and Variety Bureau, in 1930-37. - Ballerina of the State Association of Music, Stage and Circus.

In 1937, she was illegally repressed as "the wife of an enemy of the people." Her husband Avramenko (name unknown), an aircraft engineer, was arrested in 1937 by the NKVD authorities as an “enemy of the people” and shot (she did not tell anything about her husband during her lifetime).

Since 1943, after being released from the camp, she lived in Akmolinsk, worked in a club, then in the Palace of Culture of Railway Workers named after V.L. Lenin, where she created and led a 32-year-old dance ensemble. Tatyana Pavlovna married Boris Vasilievich Afonin, a talented organizer of cultural and educational work, the first director of the V.I. Lenin, Honored Worker of Culture of Kazakhstan. In 1965, she received the title of Honored Artist of the Kazakh SSR.

Afonina Tatyana Pavlovna died in Akmolinsk on November 21, 1995.

On May 22, 2015, the staff of the ALZHIR museum arranged a meeting with people who personally knew Tatiana Pavlovna Iving-Afonina. These are Valentina Alekseevna Bykovskaya, Dmitry Nikolayevich Melnikov and Leonid Lazarevich Karp. Bykovskaya Valentina Alekseevna was a student of Tatyana Pavlovna. From the story of V.A. After being released from the camp for more than thirty years, she was the permanent leader of the once popular dance ensemble. As our guest noted, she was a very interesting and talented person. She lived a long and happy life surrounded by people close to her. Melnikov Dmitry Nikolaevich, Senior Lecturer, Department of Religious Studies, Eurasian National University L.N. Gumileva, lived next door to Tatyana Pavlovna in a house located on Monina Street in Tselinograd. Conversations between Dmitry Nikolaevich and Tatyana Pavlovna, then a thirteen-year-old teenager, he shared, will forever remain in his memory. He spoke about her difficult fate. At the same time, she managed to preserve the best human qualities, professional skills and engage in creative creative work. After herself, she left a good name and grateful students. Karp Leonid Lazarevich, Head of the Department of Public Health No. 1 of Astana Medical University, spoke about the significant cultural contribution of Tatyana Afonina's spouse, Boris Afonin, a talented organizer of cultural and educational work, the first director of the new palace, honored cultural worker of Kazakhstan.
