March 5, on the eve of International Women’s Day, museum staff visited Anna Endanova, the only woman in Kazakhstan, alive woman-prisoner of “ALZHIR”, whom on March 1, celebrated 90 years old. This day financial aid was provided by museum to her.
May 16, with support of Presidential fund of development of state language, the contest for the best scientific work, devoted to 75-years since the start of mass political repression was organized. In the contest 37 works were stated on the theme: “Never happen again”, “Deported people”, “How repression passed through your family”.
