January 15 an exposition “Great sons of the epoch” dedicated to outstanding statesmen T. Ryskulov and N. Nurmakov was held in the museum.
March 10 the museum employees organized the exhibition “In those far years” at the Kazakh-Russian college.
March 17 the exhibition “Ukrainians in Kazakhstan: view to past and future” about the history of Ukrainians deported to Kazakhstan was opened in the museum.
May 4 at the eve of 65th anniversary of the victory in Great Patriotic War the museum staff organized an exhibition “Singed by war”.
May 29 the museum staff presented thematic exhibition “Country behind the barbed wire” dedicated to prisoners of “ALZHIR” camp.
June 4 the book exhibition timed to the Day of State symbols was opened in the museum.
June 22 the exhibition “Bitter tiers of children” was presented in the museum.
July 1-6 the “History of the capital” exhibition was held in the museum.
July 15-30 the exhibition “In one family” devoted to the Year of the Rapprochement of Cultures.
August 11-20 a thematic exhibition “Wrongfully accused” dedicated to women-prisoners of ALZHIR was held in the museum.
August 25 the exhibition dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Constitution of RK opening ceremony was held with the participation of the militaries of the military unit 44812 and the pupils of the school of Akmol village.
August 31 the exhibition “Poland, 1939” was organized timed to the opening of the Commemorative stone to Poland prisoners of ALZHIR camp.
September 10 the exhibition “Small rill of big truth” dedicated to the activity of Kayum Mukhamedkhanov, repressed writer, public figure, was held in the museum.
October 1-7 the museum staff organized the exhibition “We wanted to live so much” at the Republic fair in Pavlodar.
October 25-30 the exhibition “From autonomy to independence” dedicated to the representatives of “Alash” party was held in the museum.
November 18 the exhibition dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Chokan Valikhanov, a scientist, orientalist, was held in the museum.
November 26 the exhibition “Way to independence” was organized at K. Kuanishbayev music drama theatre.
December 13 the museum staff organized the exhibition “Way to independence” timed to the Day of Independence of RK at the L.M. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
