January 21 and 25 the museum staff organized the exhibition “Alash is the roots of Independence” at the Kazakh agrarian and technical University and Turan-Astana University.
February 2 the researcher Ayaganova E. organized the exhibition “Alash is the roots of Independence” and read the lecture “In those terrible years” for pupils of № 40 school.
February 10-12 the exhibition "50 years of Tselinograd History" timed to 50th anniversary of Tselinograd city was held.
March 10-14 the exhibition "Early collected flowers" telling of the fates of women-prisoners of ALZHIR camp was held in the museum.
May 20 head of the exhibition department red the lectures “In those terrible years” and “Children of GULAG” for students of Medical Academy of Astana.
May 31 at the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression the opening of the exhibition "The secret becomes clear" took place in the museum.
June 3 the National Academic Library in conjunction with the "ALZHIR" Museum organized the book and documentary exhibition "History, Time and Era”.
July 8 the opening of the book and documentary exhibition "History, Time and Era” was held in the Palace of Peace and Concordance.
July 12 the exhibition “From the history of resettlement” was organized in the museum.
August 15 the exhibition “Constitution is the Independence guarantee” timed to the Day of Constitution of RK was opened in the museum.
September 20 and 27 the exhibition “Children of GULAG” was organized for the pupils of Semyenovka and Novoishimka villages.
September 28 the exhibition and the lecture “Independent Kazakhstan” were organized for the pupils of №4 school of Astana.
October 19 the museum staff organized the exhibition “We remember you” at № 52 of Astana.
