On January 16-22-s, the museum specialists presented the exhibition and made a lecture on “ALZHIR is our memory and pain”, devoted to the first party of women-prisoners arrived on January 6, 1938.

February 6-22, the exhibition "The feat of the soldiers-internationalists", dedicated to the 28th anniversary of withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan was organized. The exhibition presented archival documents and photographs reflecting fragments of hostilities, military equipment, as well as the form of the Soviet soldier, transferred to the Museum by a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, the soldier-internationalist by Duysekeev Zh. T.

February 12, the specialist of the museum gave a lecture on "The feat of the soldiers-internationalists", dedicated to the 28th anniversary of withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.

February 18, the specialist of the museum organized the exhibition with slide-show and lecture on “The history of the mass political repressions of 1930-50-s” (based on materials from Almaty Region).

February 22, the specialist of the museum organized the exhibition with slide-show and lecture on “Famous names of “ALZHIR” at “Zhas Ulan” the Republican School of the Ministry of Defence of RoK named after Nurmaganbetov S.K., during the event the documentary film “The fierce cold of “ALZHIR” was demonstrated. The deputy director of the Republican School, the head of educational and ideological works department, the lieutenant Colonel Zharbosinov Amantai Kalabayevich congratulated the museum director M.A.Oralov for the 10-th anniversary of the museum and handed souvenir with emblem “Zhas Ulan” school.

February 23, the museum specialists visited College of power engineering and telecommunications, Astana, where they organized the exhibition with slide-show and lecture on “We are witnessing” and demonstration of the film.

February 23 – March 1, the exhibition and lecture about prisoners-artists serve in “ALZHIR” was presented.

February 25, the museum specialist organized the exhibition with slide-show and lecture on “The history of the mass political repressions of 1930-50-s” (based on materials of Kostanai Region).

On March 3, the specialist of the excursion-exhibition department Khassenova Anar participated in the Regional competition “The best guide - 2016” in Kokshetau among the museums of Akmola Region within the framework of the “The Road Map” for development of the museums and museum-reservation for 2017-2018-s. For the active participation she was awarded with Diploma of akimate and tourism department of Akmola Region.

On March 4-5, the exhibition and lecture on “The prisoners of “ALZHIR” was presented at the museum.

On March 6-13, within the framework of the museum’s pedagogy with participation of schoolchildren of Akmol, as well as children from large, poor and low-income families, children who are registered with Department of Inter Affairs of Tselinograd district, the exhibition of children’s pictures, devoted to March 8 – The International Women-‘s Day was organized.

March 14 – 24, the exhibition “Welcome, Nauryz!” was demonstrated in “Alash” hall, including 6 sections: “Happy Nauryz Day”, “National Kazakh food”, “National Kazakh customs”, “National Kazakh games”, “National Kazakh jewelry and musical instruments”, “Nauryz at the museum”. Also Kazakh National costumes, art and handicrafts and pictures of schoolchildren of Akmol were presented.

March 24 – 30, the exhibition and the lecture, devoted to 120-th anniversary of Suleimen Eskarayev were organized.

March 30, within the framework of Regional concourse of artistic amateur “Akmola stars” in the Culture Centre of Tselinograd district, the specialists of the museums organized the exhibition “The ways, which we did not choose” about “ALZHIR” prisoners.

On April 26 - May 3, in the hall «Alash» the exhibition and lecture on «The friendship of nations- the unity of country», timed to coincide with the 1st of May- Unity Day of people of Kazakhstan was organized.

On May 3-9, the exhibition «The men who raised the flag of courage» in the hall «Alash» was organized (dedicated to the 9th of May – Victory Day of Great Patriotic War).The exhibition contains photos of the years of the great Patriotic war, famous war veterans, received the title of Hero of the Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova, Manshuk Mametova, Hiuaz Dospanova, Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, etc.

On 11th of May, A. Khassenova a specialist of the exhibition department organized a mobile exhibition and lecture on "Alashtyn azap tartkan arulary", in the State historical,cultural and literary-memorial reserve-museum of Abai "Zhidebay-Borély" dedicated to 100th anniversary of the Kazakh lands of the government Alash Orda. The exhibition presents photos of the wives of prominent public figures of Kazakhstan, who was serving a sentence in the camp "ALZHIR".

From May 19 to June in the exhibition hall of the Museum the exhibition of “Unique exhibits of the Museum "ALZHIR"” was organized, which presents the material, collected during the research work of the Museum in 2015-2016-s, timed to 31st of May, Memorial Day of victims of political repressions.

From June 23 to September 10, exhibition and lecture on “In the memory of generations” within the International specialized exhibition “EXPO – 2017” was organized. Photos and archive documents submitted to the Museum Fond from descendants of repressed, participants of International project “Descendants remember” including complex materials of Khassen Nurmuhamed and his wife Kira Berseneva (a prisoner of “ALZHIR”) , Mukhamedkali and Shakitay Tatimovs, Shakir and Gainizhamal Gaisins, Sulukhan Bigizbaeva, Klara Bron and Enta Lichtenstein in the exhibition were presented. Addition to exhibition, became a sewing machine “Zinger” owned by prisoner “ALZHIR” Gainizhamal Gaisina, also children’s letters, written by Leon Nurmukhamed to his mother Kira Berseneva to “ALZHIR” camp.

From June 27 to July 10 , the children’s painitings exhibition with accompanying slides “Astana in the children’s eyes” within the Museum Pedagogy were demonstrated. The works schoolchildren 1-5 grades of school №5 and works of children from low-income, large families and children consisting Tselinograd district’s police Department account were presented. On July 1-13, exhibition with accompanying slides and lecture on theme “Pride place of people – their country” dedicated to the City Day were presented.

On July 3, the opening ceremony of a memorial plate dedicated to Hungarian women-prisoners of "ALZHIR" was held with participation of representatives of the Embassy of Hungary and Korea. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary to Kazakhstan Mr. Andras Barany, Director of the Museum M. A. Oralov made a speech.

On July 8, Museum specialist A. Iskendirova read a lecture on the theme "The cradle of the country future ", timed to the City Day.

On August 12-31, the exhibition with slide-show on “The main law is a support of the state” and the lecture on “The base law is our main law” devoted to Constitution Day of RoK were held. The aim of the exhibition - the history of the formation of the Constitution, to familiarize Museum visitors with the main provisions and articles of the Constitution, of fundamental importance to individuals, society and the state. The exhibition presents the Main provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, uniting the peoples of our country and ensuring quality education in schools and universities, quality health care and protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On August 26- 29 specialist of the Exhibition Department G. Tulepbergenova delivered a lecture on "Nuclear-free world – global mission of Kazakhstan", dedicated to the International Day against nuclear tests.

On September 3, specialist of exposition and exhibition department read a lecture on “Political figures of Alash Horde” devoted to 100-th anniversary of Alash Horde Government.

On September 4-13, the exhibition with slide show was demonstrated at the museum on “Family is a base of life” devoted to Family Day.

On September 9, specialist of research work department delivered a lecture on “Broken family” devoted to Family Day.

On June 19 - September 15within the framework of the International specialized exhibition "EXPO-2017" in the hall "Alash", the exhibition and lecture "In memory of generations" were organized . The exhibition includes photographs and archival documents from the repressed descendants, members of the International project "Remember the descendants." Including a range of materials of Khassen Nurmukhamedov and his wife Kira Berseneva, a prisoner of “ALZHIR”, Mukhametkali and Shakitai Tatimovs, Shakir and Gainizhamal Gaisins, Slukhan Bagizbayeva, Klara Bron and Enta Likhtenshtein. Addition to the exhibition, became a sewing machine "zinger", which belonged to Gainizhamal Gaisina, children’s letters, written by Leon Nurmukhamedov to his mother Kira Berseneva to the camp “ALZHIR”.

On September 9, the specialist of exposition and exhibition department presented exhibition with slide show on “Activity of the museum on preserving memory of “ALZHIR” prisoners” on WIP site, as well as demonstrated the film “The fierce colod of “ALZHIR”, “More than life” organized by Centre of urban studies and planning, Astana city.

On September 14-21, exhibition with slide show on “State language is pedestal of our country” devoted to State Language Day and delivered a lecture on “My language is support of my life”.

On September 20, within the framework of Presidential programme “View to the future: modernization of public mind”, the museum specialists met with students of 7-th grade in Akmol №5 school.During the meeting the slide show with items of programme was demonstrated. Students put forward their views and answered the questions of specialists.

On September 20, within the framework of regional programme “Astana without drugs”, the museum specialists organized the meeting with students of 7-th grade in Akmol №5 school. During the meeting the slide show on the topic “Future without drugs” was presented. Students put forward their views and answered the questions of specialists.

On September 23-30, exhibition with slide show and lecture on “Kazakhstan is our common house” devoted to deportation of people to Kazakhstan were organized.

On September 26, the deputy director of museum Duysekeev K.T. made a lecture “Battle against extremism and terrorism” for museum staff.

On September 28,within the framework of Presidential programme “View to the future: modernization of public mind”, the museum specialists met with the specialist of the library, department of culture and development of language of Tselinograd district in the Regional library. During the meeting items of programme and lecture were presented.

On October 6, the museum specialist organized the meeting with students of school №5 of Akmol village in Children’s creativity center of Tselinograd district within the framework of Presidential programme “View to the future”. During the meeting she told about the main points of programme and made a report.

On October 6-13, the museum specialist of research department organized the exhibition with slide show and made a lecture on “Children of GULAG” dedicated to innocent victims of Stalin terror, went through orphanages of specila regime.

On October 13, museum specialist within the framework of Presidential programme “View to the future” organized the meeting in Akimate of Tselinograd district.

On October 14, museum specialist gave a lecture for museum guests on “Red Terror victims” dedicated to repressed people of Kazakhstan.

On October 18, the specialist of exposition and exhibition department set up an exhibition with slide show in The center of social service under Astana city akimate and got lecture on “Unceasing pain”, as well as demonstrated the documentary film “Longer than life”, the film director of that is Daria Violina, a granddaughter of “ALZHIR” prisoner Lidia Frenkel-Violina.

On October 20, museum specialist within the framework of Presidential programme “View to the future” organized the meeting in hospital of Akmol village.

On October 23, specialists of exposition and exhibition department launched an exhibition with slide show and lecture on “Hard lessons of history” for persons serving a criminal sentence at state institution "Institution EC-166/10 Department of criminal-Executive system of Astana city Committee of criminal Executive system of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

On October 23, specialist of exposition and exhibition department within the framework of Presidential programme “View to the future” organized the meeting with specialist of Internal Affairs Department, Tselinograd district.

On October 26, specialist of exposition and exhibition department visited Nazarbayev University and participated in the event organized by Alexei Trochev Associate Professor of Political Science School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nazarbayev University editor of «Statutes & Decisions: The Laws of the USSR and Its Successor States». The museum specialist A.Khassenova presented an exhibition “Memory of women – prisoners in «ALZHIR» museum” and organized the demonstration of film “ALZHIR.Restored memory”.

On October 20-30, specialist of exposition and exhibition department organized the mobile exhibition and lecture on “Children’s look at the history of repression” for students of school №5 of Akmol village.

On October 30, the manager of exposition and exhibition department gave a lecture for students of school №5 of Akmol village.

On November 1-30-s, “Memory of Belarusian “ALZHIR” women-prisoners” the exhibition was organized in “Alash” Hall, where archival documents, transferred to the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during the visit to Astana in June, 2017 were demonstrated.

On November 2, within the framework of Presidential program “View to the future”, the museum specialist organized meeting in Tselinograd district Statistics.

On November 7, within the framework of Presidential program “View to the future: modernization of the public consciousness”, the manager of exposition and exhibition department organized meeting with students of school №5, Akmol village.

On November 10-17, the specialist of exposition and exhibition department set up an exhibition with slide show about repressed men of Kazakhstan and their wives, “ALZHIR” prisoners.

On November 15, within the framework of Presidential program “View to the future” the specialist of research department organized meeting with students of school №5, Akmol village.

On November 15, within the framework of Presidential program “View to the future: modernization of the public consciousness” Deputy director of administrative and economic issues K.T.Duysekeev organized meeting with students of school №5, Akmol village.

On November 17-23, the specialist of exposition and exhibition department set up an exhibition with slide show and lecture about prominent Kazakh figures repressed in 1937.

On November 20 – December 4, the specialist of exposition and exhibition department set up an exhibition with slide show, dedicated to The First President’s Day.

On November 24-30, according to the Protocol of the meeting on the Program progress “View to the future: modernization of the public consciousness” under the chairmanship of deputy of Astana city mayor on the basis of the restoration of genuine Museum exhibits during 2014-2017-s, an exhibition with slide show and lecture were organized in “Alash” Hall.

On November 25, the specialist of exposition and exhibition department S.Mailibayeva made a lecture on “Deportation” devoted to deported people of Kazakhstan in 1930-40-s for museum guests.

On November 30, museum specialists set up an exhibition with slide show for persons serving a criminal sentence at state institution "Institution EC-166/10 Department of criminal-Executive system of Astana city Committee of criminal Executive system of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

On November 20 – December 4, the specialist of exposition and exhibition department launched an exhibition with slide show and lecture dedicated to the President’s Day of Kazakhstan.

On December 8, museum specialists R.Zhaksibayeva and B.Zhalgasova organized an exhibition with slide show and lecture for persons serving a criminal sentence at state institution "Institution EC-166/10 Department of criminal-Executive system of Astana city Committee of criminal Executive system of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

On December 11-17-s, the specialist of exposition and exhibition department staged an exhibition with slide show and lecture on the eve of the President’s Day of Kazakhstan.

On December 22, within the framework of preparation to celebration of 20-th anniversary of Kazakhstani capital - Astana city, the literal and musical composition was held with participation of students of Professional Lyceum № 6, Astana city and also children from needy, large families and children consisting on the account in Tselinograd district.
