On January 11, the guide A. Iskendirova of the department of exhibition and exposition work organized, for free, the exhibition with accompanying slides and a lecture on the topic “ALZHIR” қасіреті мәңгі біздің жадымызда сақталады”. “ALZHIR” - our memory and pain” for students of 7-9 grades of the school-gymnasium No. 69 of Astana, dedicated to the arrival of the first batch of women in the camp “ALZHIR” on January 6, 1938.

On January 17, 2019, in the framework of the implementation of the program article of the Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev “Rukhani Zhangyru: View to the future” in secondary school No. 3 a. Talapker Tselinograd district for students of grades 7-9 at no cost was organized an exhibition with accompanying slides on “Құпия сандық сыр шертеді”, the purpose of which is to create a sense of patriotism and morality in the younger generation, to build a sense of respect and pride in national history, instilling love to the motherland.
The exhibition was prepared on the basis of materials received by the museum during the research work in the archive of the Aktobe region, the local history museum of the Aktobe region and the descendants of repressed.
The exhibition presents photographs, archival documents of Temirbek and Damesh Zhurgenevs, Uzakbay and Ayish Kulumbetovs, as well as other immigrants from the West Kazakhstan region who were subjected to political repressions of the 1930-1950s.
Temirbek Zhurgenev was born in 1898 in the Irgiz district of the Aktyubinsk region, a prominent public figure, the Minister of Education of the Kazakh SSR, repressed in 1938. His wife, Damesh Zhurgeneva (Ermekova), was convicted as the “wife of the enemy of the people” and served her sentence in “ALZHIR”.
Uzakbay Kulumbetov was born in 1891 in the Irgiz district of the Aktobe region, a prominent political figure, served as Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Kazakh SSR, repressed in 1938. His wife Ayish Kulumbetova was convicted as the “wife of the enemy of the people” and served her sentence in “ALZHIR”. 15 people got acquainted with the exhibition free of charge.

On January 24-31, in the framework of the Year of Youth, an exhibition was organized in the museum and memorial complex “ALZHIR” in the “ALZHIR” hall with a slide on “Children of the Gulag”, which presented letters and photographs of the children of the prisoners “ALZHIR”: Aziza Ryskulova - Saul and Rida , Fatima Osmanova - Zarema and Aitkul, Gulzhamal Mailina - Edilya, Mereke and Raziya, Anna Kagan - Felix and Vladimir, Irina Shubrikova - Iskra, Maya and Konstantin, Zina Akhmetova - Azaliya, Zufnun Nurmakova - Noyana and Tamara, Khanna Martinson- Martin and Inna, Kira Andronnikoshvili - Boris, Nina Vsesvyatskaya- Yuliya and Alina, as well as photographs and letters of the children of the repressed Alikhan Bukeikhanov - Elizabeth and Ukutai, Alashordian, the Kazakh writer Koshke Kemengerov - Nartai, Saule and Zayra.

In December 2018 - January 2019, in the department of exposition and exhibition work, a full-time student of the 2 course of the Higher Trade and Economic College of the Kazpotrebsoyuz of the Faculty of “Translation Studies” was doing internship. During the period of internship Shuvasheva Diana conducted guided tours in English for foreign guests of the museum, assisted in the organization of stationary exhibitions.

On February 4, in the framework of the implementation of the program article of the Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev “Rukhani Zhangyru: View to the future” and reporting meeting of akim of Tselinograd district M. The exhibition presents archival materials from the museum's collection, collected during research trips to cities in Kazakhstan and neighboring countries, including archival documents, photographs, memoirs, certificates of the rehabilitation of prisoners of “ALZHIR” - Aziza Ryskulova and her mother Arifa Isengulova, Damesh Zhurgeneva , Rabiga Asfendiyarova, Uazipa Kulenova, Magrifa Kazbekova, singer Lydia Ruslanova, writer Galina Serebryakova, Kira Andronnikoshvili, Ashkhen Nalbandyan, Rakhil Plisetskaya and others (123 people).

On February 12, in the framework of the implementation of the program article of the Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev “Rukhani Zhangyru: View to the future” with the goal of uncovering semantic and historical events in Afghanistan, perpetuating the memory of soldiers-internationalists, developing a sense of patriotism and morality in the museum and memorial complex “ALZHIR” in secondary school No. 42 a. Kyzylzhar, Tselinograd district, for pupils of grades 9-10 organized an exhibition with accompanying slides and a lecture on “Ауғаныстан – біздің есімізде”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. The exhibition presents a photo chronicle of events in Afghanistan, a table of the number of dead and missing Kazakhs, including materials from a native of the Tselinograd region, the internationalist soldier Zh.T. Duysekeeva. As part of an organized exhibition, a video entitled “Augan Sokysy” was shown about the fate of the internationalist warriors.

On February 14, as part of the implementation of the program article of the Head of State N.A. The exhibition presents photographs and archival documents of the People’s Commissar of Health of the Kazakh SSR, Khasen Nurmukhamedov, and his wife Kira Berseneva, who was serving a sentence in the “ALZHIR” camp, a member of the Presidium of the Executive Committee of Kazakhstan, Mukhamedkali Tatimov, and his wife Shakitai, an “ALZHIR” prisoner; the prosecutor of the Kegen district of Almaty region, Shakir Gaysin and his wife Gainizhamal, prisoner of “ALZHIR”; Suluhan Bigizbaeva, prisoner of “ALZHIR”; the chairman of Amtorg Saul Bron and his wife Clara, the prisoner of “ALZHIR”; the director of the Dobrush branch of the State Bank Liechtenstein Sevek (Sender) and his wife Enta Liechtenstein, the prisoner of “ALZHIR”; Deputy Director of the USSR State Bank Kharin Solomon Mikhailovich and his wife Sofia Zilberberg, prisoner of “ALZHIR”

February 20, in the framework of the implementation of the program article of the Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev’s “Rukhani Zhangyru: View to the future”, the guide of the exhibition and exposition department’s work, K. Parkhomenko, in the “Zerde” Hall, gave a lecture on “History of Mass Political Repressions of the 30s and 50s of the 20th century” prepared on the basis of materials from the archives of the Almaty region during the research trip in 2018.

On February 21, G. Tulepbergenova, a specialist of exposition and exhibition department organized an exhibition with accompanying slides and gave a lecture on “Ел үшін еңіреген ұлы тұлға” at secondary school No. 7, Zhana Zhol of the Tselinograd region, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Mukhametzhan Tynyshpayev, public and statesman, leader of the Alash party repressed in 1937.

On February 25, in order to gather additional information on the topic of political repression, the museum staff E. Ayaganova and G. Tulepbergenova visited the Eurasian National University. L.N. Gumilev. During the visit, the museum staff met with Sultanhan Akkuly, director of the Institute of Culture and Spiritual Development “Alash” at ENU. L.N. Gumilev, a famous scientist, candidate of philological sciences, which gave the museum the two-volume “Alikhan Bukeikhanov”, 15 volumes of writings Alikhan Bukeikhanov, a book on the activities of the party “Alash”, collections of essays Turagul Abayuly, Eldes Omaruly, Ahmet Mamytuly and Kazhyma Basymuly (total 23 books).
The obtained information will be placed in a multimedia screen located in the “Alash” hall, with the help of which museum visitors can independently familiarize themselves with information of interest regarding the history of Kazakhstan.

Iskendirova in the “Zerde” hall gave a lecture on “Sagadat Tashtitova - a prisoner of “ALZHIR” dedicated to the 105th anniversary of her birth. Her husband, Kaisar Tashtitov, served as the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Kazakhstan, and was repressed in 1937. Sagadat Tashtitova was convicted as the “wife of the enemy of the people” on July 10, 1938, to 5 years in the camp.

On March 1, in the framework of the implementation of the program article of the Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev “Rukhani Zhangyru: View to the future” and the celebration of the Day of Gratitude to instill in the younger generation of citizens a sense of tolerance, friendliness and respect for each other, as well as strengthening interethnic harmony and interethnic ties in Kazakhstan in the “ALZHIR” hall, a video on “Gratitude through the ages”, telling about the gratitude of all ethnic groups to each other and to the Kazakhs, who showed mercy to the victims of deportation.

On March 5, as part of the implementation of the program article of the Head of State N.A. Nazarbayeva “Rukhani Zhangyru: View to the future” to preserve the memory of the tragic days and events of the 30s-50s of the 20th century, restore justice to the victims of totalitarianism, form the patriotic education of the younger generation, promote the activities of the museum, employees of the exposition and exhibition department R. During the event, the museum staff organized a traveling exhibition and a lecture on “Famous names of “ALZHIR”. R. Zhaksybayeva, specialist of the exposition and exhibition department, spoke about the museum’s research and exposition and exhibition activities, as well as about the events held by the museum to perpetuate the memory of victims of political repressions of the 1930s-50s. On March 18-26, in the framework of the implementation of the program article of the 1st president N.A Nazarbayev “View to the future” with the aim of respecting and caring for the traditions and customs of people, the patriotic and moral education of the younger generation, inculcating love for the Motherland organized a mobile exhibition on “Nauryz is a holiday” in the “Alash” hall of the museum and memorial complex “ALZHIR” dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz. The exhibition presents items of national clothing and decorative arts and crafts, telling about the history of the holiday, national traditions and dishes.

On April 30 - May 3, an exhibition was organized in the “ALZHIR” hall with a slide and a lecture on “Бірлігі жарасқан Қазақстан”, dedicated to May 1 - the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan. The exhibition presents the traditions, customs, national costumes of the peoples of the world living in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On May 3, in the framework of the implementation of the program article of Elbasy N. Nazarbayev “View to the future” at the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books held a solemn opening ceremony of a traveling exhibition on the theme “Pain stretched over the centuries”, organized by the museum and memorial complex of victims of political repressions and totalitarianism “ALZHIR” and the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare books of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
 The exhibition was opened by the director of the museum "ALZHIR" Samat Illyasovich Tergembaev and the director of the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books Boldykov Zhandos Bekdildaevich, who delivered a welcoming speech.
 During the opening ceremony of the traveling exhibition, a memorandum of mutual cooperation in the implementation of joint projects was concluded.
 For the guests of the exhibition, the museum employee G. Tulepbergenova gave an introductory lecture.
 At the end of the opening of the exhibition, the director of the museum, Tergembaev Samat Ilyasovich, presented to the National Center for manuscripts and rare books a collection of memoirs of children of the repressed “Descendants remember”, published by the museum team for the 10th anniversary of the museum and the 80th anniversary of the beginning of mass political repressions.

On May 6-8, an exhibition with accompanying slides and a lecture on “Желбіре, жеңіс жалауы!”, dedicated to May 9 - Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, were organized in the “ALZHIR” hall. The exhibition is presented with photographic materials about the years of the Great Patriotic War, about such famous participants of the Great Patriotic War, who received the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, as Aliya Moldagulova, Manshuk Mametova, Khiuaz Dospanova, Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, etc.

On May 16-18, an exhibition was organized in the “ALZHIR” hall with a slide accompaniment and a lecture was given on “Journey to the world of museums” dedicated to May 18 - International Museum Day. The exhibition reflects the museums of the world and the museums of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On May 23, on the eve of May 31 - the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions and Hunger, in the framework of the implementation of the program article of the Head of State N.A. The exhibition “KARLAG - creativity in captivity” presents paintings by artists who have served their time in Karlag: the painting “Requiem. Solo on Trumpet” by K. Lyace; the paintings "Shooting at the Wolf Gate" and "Pupils of the 30s" by the author Abylkasov M .; the paintings "Leading the Enemies of the People" and "The Thirtieth Fateful" by Osipenko; triptych "37 year" author Arent V.A. the first part - “Erased Fate”, “Opposition”; triptych "Steplag" and "Bloody Path."

Nazarbayev “View to the future” in the “ALZHIR” hall, an exhibition was organized with a slide and a lecture on “Елбасы жолы ертеңге өнеге”, timed to the 30th anniversary of finding Nazarbayev Nursultan Abishevich on the highest office of the country. This exhibition highlighted the main events and stages of the leadership of Elbasy by the Country - from the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Kazakh SSR to the First President of independent Kazakhstan.

On June 18, the guide of the exposition and exhibition department A. Iskendirova gave a lecture on “Zufnun Nurmakova - a prisoner of “ALZHIR”, in the hall “Zerde”, dedicated to the 115th anniversary of her birth. Her husband, Nygmet Nurmakov, a Soviet statesman, chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of the KazSSR, was repressed in 1937. Zufnun Nurmakova was convicted as the “wife of the enemy of the people” to 8 years in labor camps.

On June 23, a lecture on “The tragic fate of Zhusupbek Aymauytov” was given by specialist of the research department E. Samorokova in the “Alash” hall, timed to the 130th anniversary of his birth. Zhusupbek Aymauytov - a writer, poet, translator, scholar, teacher, repressed in 1930.
