One of the tendency of the scientific-researching activities of the museum is scientific –searching and expedition works, which “ALLZHIR” museum staff actively organize.

May 2-9, museum colleagues visited Saint-Petersburg and Kaliningrad cities. The meeting with Raissa Sharf, a daughter of Ivan Sharf, who devoted his life for creating of Akmol (former Malinovka) village. She presented photos, documents, family photo album, films about her father’s life and activity as well as his personal objects
In Saint-Petersburg the meeting with staff of the museum of political history of Russia, as well as “Vozvrashennye imena” the center, Russian national library “the Leningrad martyrolog”,
“Memorial” society and with descendants of repressed and deported people to Kazakhstan took place.
June 30 - July 4, museum employees visited Almaty. State museum of RoK, Museum of history and descendants of repressed people gave to museum fund archival photos and documentary material about “ALZHIR” prisoners.
