Research trips
One of the tendency of the scientific-researching activities of the museum is scientific –searching and expedition works, which “ALLZHIR” museum staff actively organize.

March 10-18, museum employees went to Yekaterinburg, RF on scientific business trip. They visited The Yekaterinburg International “Memorial” society of the victims of political repression, regional museum of Yekaterinburg, Art museum of Ernst Unknown and met with descendants of “ALZHIR” prisoners: Orlova Zinaida, Lomaeva Valentina and Kashtanov D. I. a great-grandson of Ksenia Vinikova, who spent 7 years in Karlag.
April 12-18, the staff of the museum made a trip to Pavlodar. In the museum of Pavel Vasilyev they organized a mobile exhibition and showed documentary film. In the presentation of the exhibition Gaisina Galia, a daughter of Gaisina Gainizhamal a prisoner of “ALZHIR” participated. She transferred to the fund archival materials and personal objects of her mother.
June 6-14, Scientific trip was held in Aktobe. Research work was concentrated in the archives, where collected archival certificates and questionnaires of “ALZHIR” prisoners as well as meeting with S.Ataniyazov and Sh.Ospanov descendants of repressed people.
July 11-18, the museum employees traveled to Almaty. During the trip they worked in Presidential archive of Kazakhstan, Central State Archive and Archive of DIA of Almaty. Unique materials deposited in the museum fund by Sayat and Ilfa Zhansugurovs, Nurmakov Aman and Seitova Klara.
